Observe as Maja tries to write an English essay and instead lets her brain (on three hours of sleep and a USH DBQ) take over.

"Diction is very important to life. It is also apparently importany, whatever the hell that means. Who cares, anyway? WTF was that "q" doing in "anyway"? Also, fingers, there is no "m" in "anyway", WTF. And this really has no relevance to anything and will be deleted soon anyway and dammit I really lose at spelling and this tis me typing swithout suding backspace and this is really really fnui and this is the onboibgengjhdukghdrukghoreurit anyway. Ahem. Longest run-on sentence ever except I justr stopped ity a while ago and - lost my trasin of tjought. ... Anyway. Yes. This is me typing resally really quickly and not using backspace and isn't it judy? ... That was supposed t0 be "fun". Not "juidty." nAnyway. We're done now. AND THIS SHALL BE DLETED NOW. WHEE."

...There's a reason English essays take me so long, obviously.

Whenever I'm in class and supposed to be doing a write, but they're talking and I can't start writing yet, my fingers always get away from me on the blank Word document. I'm incapable of being at a keyboard and not typing something. So I usually end up watching Greg or Sarah talk while things like lyrics or emoticons appear at random on my screen.

Oh, man, you should have seen me discovering the joys of the alt+numberpad commands. (Being laptop'd means I'm totally ignorant about them.) Had to find the ë in Charlotte Brontë, which is alt+137, so I started playing with the assorted commands. "Look! The ë! And another one! -- omg, if you do this it makes a note! Another note! -- OMG A SMILEY FACE. AND ANOTHER NOTE. And more ës! ... ...Right, essay."

...ummm. Sort of. Fell asleep in PE and Latin, and kept zoning out while writing my USH DBQ, and am really tired now but have craploads of work. And may end up having to go to the slava tonight, raaaar. -- But I'm surviving. Really. XD

...Actually, I'm writing an essay on Jane Eyre. Comparing and contrasting Helen Burns and Mr. Brocklehurst. We were...er...pretending to brainstorm. And diction came up, because our teacher is always saying how people constantly write "the author uses diction" or whatever.

I wish my english and history teachers would let us take home our essays. But they're always timed writes, and I've never been allowed to take a DBQ home. Wah.

That sounds like me when I'm trying to write an essay, too, though I usually don't actually type what I'm thinking. I think it'd be fun to try it your way from now on, though I'd be scared that I'd actually print it out in a half-asleep daze and turn my gibberish in to the teacher. xD
